About the role:
The Production Assistant will support the Production team in working hand in hand with the cross functional product team to deliver on the apparel product design strategic vision and tactical execution with the ultimate goal: to deliver best in class product, for the right cost, at the right time, to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily communication with local and overseas vendors and suppliers as well as internal cross-functional partners

Support the team in weekly WIP reviews and track production progress, escalating production issues as needed to the cross functional teams

Purchase order creation and maintenance in the ERP system

Supports the production team in PLM costing gathering and entries

Tracks and approves production related samples

Responsible for collection and distribution of production related packages and package sending to suppliers

Support the production team with any other projects and tasks as needed

Additional tasks and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
-
PLM and ERP experience preferred but not required
-
Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively
-
Can adapt to a small to rapidly growing company work culture, be highly motivated and enthusiastic

Able to multitask efficiently and effectively

Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, including heavy Excel use, and Google applications.

Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills

Positive, eager and open-minded approach

Occasional evening calls as needed.
