Perioperative Supply Technician

As a Perioperative Supply Technician, you’ll help keep the operating rooms running smoothly by ensuring critical supplies are available, organized, and ready for every case. You will support day-to-day OR readiness through stocking, case cart support, inventory control, and rapid response to urgent supply needs. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced clinical environment where accuracy, urgency, and teamwork directly support patient safety.
What You’ll Do
- Stock, organize, and maintain perioperative supply areas (OR core, supply rooms, procedure areas) to support daily surgical operations.
- Pull and stage supplies for scheduled cases and add-on/emergency cases, including case cart or pick-list support as applicable.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to prevent delays or disruptions in patient care.
- Rotate stock, remove expired items, and maintain supply integrity in alignment with infection prevention and storage standards.
- Receive, unpack, label, and distribute supplies and equipment to designated perioperative locations.
- Complete accurate inventory transactions and documentation in supply/inventory systems (as assigned).
- Maintain clean, orderly, and compliant storage areas; follow safety protocols for lifting, transport, and handling.
- Partner closely with OR Nursing, Surgical Technology, Anesthesia, Sterile Processing, and Materials Management to support workflow.
- Support special projects and process improvements related to inventory accuracy, standardization, and waste reduction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of experience in supply chain, materials management, logistics, warehouse, or healthcare support preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and time-sensitive priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Basic computer/data entry skills.

Pay + Schedule
Pay Range: $17.50 – $27.20 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, weekends as needed (biannually).Compliance Statements
