Description

HULK is seeking motivated and detail-oriented engineering student to join our engineering team. This paid internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world engineering environment. Interns will work under the supervision of experienced engineers, assisting with various aspects of product testing, design, and development. This is a great opportunity for students interested in mechanical engineering, CAD modeling, and field applications.

 Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and building test fixtures for gas flow and flow testing
  • Develop test layouts, schematics, and fixture designs
  • Support the engineering team with product testing and development
  • Utilize SolidWorks CAD software for modeling and designing projects
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to support engineering decisions
  • Gain hands-on experience with mechanical design and testing in a real-world setting

 Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related program
  • Co-operative candidates must be sophomore year or higher
  • Intern candidates must be junior year or higher
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Required Coursework in:
    • Statics / Engineering Mechanics
    • Basic CAD experience (SolidWorks is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Co-Op students (3 semesters/1-year commitment) are preferred, but all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous internship or Co-Op experience
  • Additional coursework in Fluid Mechanics or Mechanical Design
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
