ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Collections & Project Coordinator serves as a liaison between Dobson and the customer to whom the service is rendered and oversees projects for development of the Call Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Proactively monitor the accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
- Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect or negotiate a payment plan to collect.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
- Update account status records and collection efforts.
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
- Utilize all applications to perform tasks to notify customer base on status of their accounts.
- Performing quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Content writer on policy and procedures within the Call Center Billing System.
- Assist in efforts to train and up-skill Call Center Employees.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.
- Organize and create accurate timelines.
- Keep open communication and form working relationships between departments.
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven experience as a Collection Specialist
- Critical thinking skills
- Skilled in negotiation
- Patience and ability to manage stress.
- At least five years of related experience required, with prior project management experience.
- Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets.
- Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels.
- Influential relationships skills at all. Able to use these relationships to deliver service improvements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
