The Construction Project Manager is responsible for defining project scope and objectives, coordinating activities of a project team, and identifying resources. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Responsible for project tracking and analysis in order to take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Open to remote locations and heavy travel is required for this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead a project team within a designated area including vendors and contractors.
· Manage tasks to ensure on time completion.
· Manage capacity, production, and cycle time expectations.
· Lead internal meetings with other managers and team members to review the status of the program and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely completion.
· Attend customer meetings to provide customer with comprehensive status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
· Ensure that all work is maintained in a tracking system with complete accuracy.
· Develop and update processes and procedures to streamline workflows.
· Identify innovative ways to reduce work cycle times and increase quality.
· Retrieve, analyze, transform, and report data for business intelligence.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Relationship management experience (government/city officials, clients, etc.) preferred.
· Civil/and or telecommunications construction background preferred.
· Experience conducting end to end project management of large telecommunications projects; able to provide technical and analytical guidance to a project team.
· Experience managing Outside Plant and Inside Plant projects.
· Advanced experience with SQL, MS Excel, Visio, and Google Earth.
· Experience with various fiber optic / carrier / collocation products and services in an operational, engineering or implementation role.
· Experience with FTTx and/or Small Cell
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree is typically preferred in:
o Construction Management
o Civil Engineering
o Architecture
o Building Science
· Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
· I0–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination roles.
· Internships, co-op programs, or assistant roles during college are often counted toward experience.
· Typical early roles include:
o Assistant Project Manager
o Field Engineer
o Estimator
o Scheduler
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able and willing to work indoors and outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions
· Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
· Must be able to work around heavy equipment and machinery
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time
· Must be able to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and any applicable safety gear
Minimum Required Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:
· PMP certification preferred.
