We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting month-end close, and ensuring our financial data supports smart business decisions across the organization.

This is a remote position, but we are specifically seeking candidates located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will help ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Record and post daily financial transactions accurately
• Verify entries across the general ledger, supplier ledger, and customer ledger
• Perform month-end close activities and support financial reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and cost accounting processes
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accounting records within company systems
• Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting practices and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience working with financial systems and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
