About the Role

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Clean Chemistry’s advanced water treatment equipment in the field. This role includes training and supervising field operators to maintain a high standard of operational excellence and service delivery. The Supervisor also supports client engagement, coordinates logistics, and ensures clear and effective communication between internal teams and on-site customer personnel.

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting safe operation of Clean Chemistry advanced water treatment equipment. Key activities include training and supervising field operators to ensure that Clean Chemistry maintains an expected level of professional operations and service. In addition, the supervisor will support client relations, organize logistics, and ensure effective communication between Clean Chemistry personnel and communication with on-site customer personnel. 

Responsibilities

  • Enforce compliance with Clean Chemistry safety standards, as well as all customer site policies and protocols; champion a culture of safety

  • Deliver structured classroom and on-site field training to field operators

  • Lead personnel in equipment planning, deployment, and logistics coordination

  • Assess operator competency and implement targeted training to ensure safe and effective performance

  • Oversee the mobilization and demobilization of field equipment in accordance with SOPs and established procedures

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Clean Chemistry technology and operate equipment on-site as required

  • Collaborate with the Field Operations Manager to drive operational efficiency

  • Direct and oversee daily activities of field operators

  • Maintain accountability for team performance and service quality

  • Prepare, review, and maintain detailed operational reports and documentation

  • Represent Clean Chemistry as a leading water treatment solutions provider within the oil and gas industry

  • Provide after-hours support, including responsiveness to calls and emails as needed

  • Track and document operator performance, development, and improvement plans

  • Manage operator scheduling and timesheet approvals

  • Partner with management to review and update policies and procedures

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and QA/QC teams to maintain adequate inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment

  • Ensure timely distribution of parts, tools, and equipment to field operations

  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships

  • Oversee and perform equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades across field assets, including skids and trailers

  • Coordinate fabrication, assembly, and refurbishment of equipment and sub-assemblies

  • Continuously improve inventory, production, and maintenance programs to meet operational demand

  • Conduct field audits, including spot checks of rig-ups, rig-downs, and delivery operations

  • Support remote and multi-day field operations, including installations and trials

  • Manage chemical handling activities, including loading and unloading deliveries

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with fleet maintenance programs

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or technical certification preferred

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in oilfield equipment operations, preferably within water treatment

  • Ability to reside locally and report to the shop within one hour of notification

  • Demonstrated experience supervising field-based teams

  • Strong understanding of field operations, including water transfer, water treatment, and hydraulic fracturing processes
