The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for enhancing the overall guest experience while supporting property-level marketing, sales initiatives, and community engagement efforts. This role plays a key part in driving guest satisfaction, brand awareness, and revenue growth through the development and execution of on-brand activities, events, and marketing initiatives.

This position reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Assistant General Manager, as well as Corporate Sales and Marketing teams. This is a hands-on, working position, requiring active participation in events, guest interaction, and on-property programming.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience, Activities & Events

                          Collaborate with property leadership to develop, plan, and execute a calendar of on-brand activities and events for both adults and children.

                          Actively host, lead, and participate in scheduled activities and events.

                          Ensure events are well-organized, engaging, and aligned with CRR brand standards.

                          Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by programming needs.

                          Contribute to overall guest satisfaction, engagement, and positive guest reviews.

 

Marketing, Content & Communication

                          Manage property-level marketing efforts.

                          Create and distribute marketing materials including flyers, activity calendars, newsletters, and digital content.

                          Oversee and maintain property social media platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand messaging.

                          Update and maintain the property app with current events, activities, and promotions.

                          Capture on-site content (photos, videos, testimonials) to support marketing and brand storytelling.

 

Sales, Outreach & Lead Generation

 

                          Support property-level sales initiatives through prospecting and relationship development.

                          Conduct site tours, assist with guest, and group inquiries.

                          Perform sales calls and follow-up communication with potential guests and organizations.

                          Engage with local organizations including Chamber of Commerce, tourism partners, and community groups.

                          Identify and pursue opportunities with rally groups, corporate housing, and long-term guests.

                          Assist in generating leads and supporting conversion efforts to drive occupancy and revenue.

 

Campaign Execution & Collaboration

                          Work collaboratively with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Corporate Sales & Marketing teams to execute sales and marketing campaigns.

                          Support initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, bookings, and guest engagement.

 

Market Awareness & Competitive Analysis

                          Research local competitors (comp set) to identify opportunities and market trends.

                          Conduct site visits and gather insights on pricing, offerings, and positioning.

                          Collaborate with leadership to review pricing and ensure the property remains competitively positioned.

 

Qualifications

                          3–5 years of experience in hospitality, events, marketing, or sales preferred

                          Strong communication and interpersonal skills

                          Experience with social media, content creation, and basic marketing tools

                          Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities

                          Comfortable engaging with guests, leading activities, and networking within the community

                          Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Work Schedule Requirements

 

                          This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

                          Schedule will vary based on event programming, business demand, and seasonal needs

 

Physical & Role Expectations

                          Must be able to actively participate in and lead events and activities

                          Regular interaction with guests, team members, and community partners is required

                          Role requires periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
