Dobson Fiber is searching for an IT Project Manager to join our team. The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that support telecommunications infrastructure and services. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:· Lead end-to-end project management for telecommunications and IT initiatives, including System Development initiatives upgrades, and new service implementations
· Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
· Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
· Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution
· Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
· Communicate project status, updates, and issues to leadership and stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
· Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
· Facilitate meetings, provide documentation, minutes and maintain accurate project records
· Support continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
· 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in telecommunications or IT infrastructure
· Strong understanding of telecom technologies (fiber, VoIP, wireless networks, broadband services)
· Strong background in ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, Field Service & Inventory Mgmt.
· Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
· Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
