Become a Key Player as a Production Machine Operator 1
You will support production goals by operating and maintaining production machinery to meet quality and throughput targets. You will work primarily onsite on the first shift (M–F 5:00am–1:30pm) as part of a production team, communicating with supervisors and peers to sustain a safe, efficient work environment. Your work directly impacts product quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on production machinery and test equipment
- Follow job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, and specifications to complete tasks
- Troubleshoot machines and implement practical solutions to restore performance
- Maintain adequate raw material stock and complete equipment maintenance per schedules
- Measure and verify production items are within tolerances using hand tools and precision instruments (e.g., micrometers)
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and quality standards
- Perform additional tasks as assigned and maintain regular, punctual attendance
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1–2 years of relevant experience operating machinery in a factory or production environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses
- Proficiency with hand tools and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent related experience
Pay Range
$11.94 - $14.93/hour
