Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester Senior
You will assemble and test mechanical and electro-mechanical products to ensure quality and on-time delivery for the organization. You will work on the 2nd shift (1:30PM–10:00PM) onsite in Irvine, CA, collaborating with production, quality, and engineering stakeholders to support manufacturing of flight-control related assemblies. Your work directly impacts product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform moderately complex assembly and test tasks using hand and power tools, test equipment, and assembly fixtures
- Record and interpret test results; operate measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, transducers, and flow measurement tools
- Identify malfunctions from test data and perform rework as instructed
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications
- Produce and inspect assemblies to meet product and customer specifications; perform soldering and surface finishing as required
- Participate in lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Assist in training less experienced team members and maintain a FOD-free work area
- Ensure equipment calibration per schedule
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Two or more years of industry-related assembly/test experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency reading blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
- Ability to perform basic math, use basic computer tools, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Strong mechanical reasoning and hands-on skills with mechanical and electronic tools
Pay Range
$$26.65-$40.25 /hour
