Become a Key Player as an Electromechanical Assembler 2
You will support production of electronic and electromechanical assemblies, ensuring quality and repeatable output on an onsite shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM). Your work impacts manufacturing, quality, and engineering stakeholders by delivering reliably assembled components used in higher-level systems. You will operate within a team-oriented environment with opportunities to work independently on assigned tasks.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work on a semi-repetitive to repetitive production basis
- Work under microscopes for extended periods to handle small parts and piezoelectric crystals
- Assemble intermediate cable harnesses and PCBs; perform mechanical assembly of small parts
- Apply ESD controls, soldering, epoxy mixing/bonding, resistance welding, potting, and high-voltage testing processes
- Operate winding/braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multi-meters, Hypot testers (up to 12 kV), soldering irons, and common hand tools
- Read basic blueprints and follow work instructions; log work orders and time using basic computer systems
- Package and handle classified assemblies per procedures
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) or more years of related electronics assembly experience
- Ability to perform fine manual tasks and handle small components under a microscope
- Working knowledge of ESD controls, soldering, bonding, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform high-voltage potting and testing and to use multimeters and other test equipment
- Basic computer skills to log work orders and timecards
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds and meet required vision standards (close,color, peripheral, focus)
