Become a Key Player as a Repair Station Technician

You will help assemble, test, and prepare aircraft wheel and brake components for shipment, ensuring product meets specifications and regulatory requirements. You will work on the 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm) onsite at the Danville distribution center and collaborate with production supervisors, planning personnel, and project teams to support continuous improvement and meet customer expectations.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Assemble aerospace components into final wheel and brake assemblies following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
  • Inspect, clean, and perform required testing for final product acceptance, including operating hydraulic test equipment after training
  • Complete required documentation and computer transactions to satisfy government and customer requirements
  • Use power hand tools and auxiliary machine tools to perform mechanical assembly processes
  • Participate in daily continuous improvement activities and project teams
  • Maintain safe work practices and observe environmental, health, and safety procedures
  • Perform frequent walking and occasional heavy lifting; adapt to variable schedules and additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • High school diploma or secondary certificate
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, product specifications, and written work instructions
  • Skilled in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations and manual dexterity for small parts
  • Experience operating hand tools and basic machinery
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee)

Pay Range

$20.50/hour
