Shifts:  2nd Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm

  • Competitive Pay
    • Hourly Pay: $29.00 - $35.00/hr
    • Shift Differential:  $1.00/hr extra for working 2nd shift

·       Team Leader levels and compensation are determined by successfully completing and verifying levels in the Team Leader Skill Level plan

 

What You’ll Do:

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tanks, pumps, mills, mixers, load cells, and other compounding equipment used in the manufacture of creams, ointments, lotions, and liquid products
• Perform full line equipment configurations independently to support production needs
• Complete preventative maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, calibrations, and equipment rebuilds as needed
• Perform welding, fabrication, and minor equipment improvements to support compounding operations
• Generate purchase requisitions for parts, tools, and materials required for equipment repairs or maintenance
• Assist management with new project planning by providing input on equipment selection, potential capital improvements, and estimated production output
• Support troubleshooting efforts, train or guide other mechanical personnel, and provide clear work instructions when needed
• Work safely around solvents, chemicals, sanitizing agents, hot water, and confined space areas
• Follow SOPs, cGMP expectations, safety procedures, and plant requirements to ensure equipment readiness and compliance
• Perform all other maintenance, repair, sanitation support, and production-related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Previous experience working in a compounding, liquids manufacturing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar production environment preferred


• Strong hands-on experience with compounding equipment such as tanks, pumps, mills, mixers, load cells, and related machinery


• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment


• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge required


• Plumbing repair/improvement experience required; welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred


• Strong understanding of SOPs, safety procedures, and equipment operation requirements


• Ability to communicate clearly, provide instructions, and work cooperatively with production, maintenance, and management teams


• Comfortable working around chemicals, solvents, sanitizing agents, and hot water up to 180°F
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, push a 55-gallon drum, stand for a full shift, and use hand tools with manual dexterity


• Must be able to pass a physical to wear a respirator and work in confined space areas


• Must be able to work overtime or extended shifts as needed

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual acuity for reading codes and detecting small product defects
  • Dexterity to keep pace with high-speed production lines
  • Ability to stand for a full shift, push/pull/palletize boxes, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to hear alarms and communicate effectively in a noisy environment
  • Color vision, peripheral vision, and physical flexibility to bend/kneel for inspections
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
