Become a Key Player as a Shipping/Receiving Manager
You will lead warehouse transformation to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, driving inventory accuracy and on-time shipments. You will manage a team (approximately 9-10 direct reports; ~34 total in the warehouse) and partner with logistics, procurement, and production stakeholders to optimize operations. This is an onsite role in Danville, KY, focused on driving process, safety, and continuous improvement.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet production and customer needs
- Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and coordination with procurement and operations
- Control daily plan vs. actual performance and report on warehouse metrics and productivity
- Optimize carriers, lanes, and costs across inbound/outbound logistics (LTL, parcel, multiple carriers)
- Lead transformation efforts to overhaul physical, digital, and procedural warehouse operations
- Implement and drive lean initiatives (5S, standard work, visual management, waste reduction)
- Ensure equipment maintenance and safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors
- Champion safety and ergonomics in daily operations and compliance with health and safety regulations
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Bachelor's degree (logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field) required
- 5–7+ years manufacturing experience in shipping or materials management; proven warehouse manager experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Experience with warehouse management systems and SAP; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated leadership, team building, coaching, and change management skills
- Strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement, and program management
- Analytical skills to monitor metrics and implement corrective actions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; physical ability to oversee warehouse activities

Pay Range
$88,000 - $115,000/year (target 12.5% bonus)
