About This Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service & Construction Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Group Manager – Combustion Service to deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting our field service technicians. You'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, budgets stay on track, and our customers receive outstanding service.

Key Deliverables

  • Manage work quality and budget costs to ensure project profitability
  • Prepare comprehensive work schedules for service technicians
  • Report project progress and identify challenges early
  • Oversee and facilitate the installation of equipment and components for projects
  • Provide proactive support by identifying and resolving issues at any site

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Schedule all rental equipment needed for each job with precision and foresight
  • Manage all expenses for road work projects and maintain accurate records
  • Enter service report information into our ERP system with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work directly with the Group Manager – Combustion Service to resolve field issues
  • Schedule technicians and follow up with customers on field service reports
  • Estimate costs for installations and repairs for the service department
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and shop teams on repairs and projects
  • Enter all road time and construction department time into tracking systems
  • Partner with the sales department and customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Required Experience & Competencies

  • Project coordinator experience (preferred, not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient computer skills with strong technical aptitude
  • Experience with scheduling software, preferably Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of job costing and project estimating principles and practices

Supervision & Leadership

You will coordinate with all construction crew and foreman to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

Work Environment

Manufacturing Environment

This role involves working in a shop manufacturing environment with exposures that may include moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools and equipment, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, and outside weather conditions. You may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, and very warm or very chilly temperatures. The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times, consistent with an industrial assembly facility, and may require hearing protection.
