Position Summary:
Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) is searching for an E-Commerce Team Lead - Distribution Operations at Jamison Lane. The Team Lead – Distribution Operations E-Commerce is responsible for assisting in managing the company’s online sales of goods for intake to shipment. Assist in coordinating the scheduling of production work and completes proper paperwork for invoicing procedures.
Duties:
- Assist with the organization of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Maintains quality standards for E-Commerce distribution operations, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Utilizes inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy and availability
- Maintains accurate stock levels and minimizes discrepancies.
- Monitors customer inquiries and feedback, assisting with responding to questions, complaints, and refund requests promptly and professionally.
- Inspects merchandise to ensure it meets RGI’s quality and condition standards prior to listings.
- Adheres to standards for product quality and presentation for online listings.
- Ensures the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Provides input on process improvements to optimize warehouse operations.
- Models expected behavior, promoting teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company values.
- Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Performs all other duties assigned.
Position Requirements:
Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and blackout periods which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management.
Minimum Qualification:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years retail or related experience.
- Basic proficiency in using computers and internet research tools.
- Must complete all RGI Team Lead training programs.
- Completion of all additional mandatory training will be required as outlined by your supervisor in order to retain this position.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years retail or related experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in using computers and internet research tools.
- Must have completed Team Lead training programs.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

- At least six (6) months supervisory experience.

Physical Demands:
- Mobility: Must be able to move around an office space, and navigate warehouses, including walking and standing.
- Lifting Requirements: Required to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, such as marketing materials, product samples, or equipment.
- Posture & Movements: Prolonged periods of standing, with frequent use of hands and fingers pushing, pulling, and handling small objects. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and climb ladders or stairs as necessary.
- Manual Dexterity: Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, telephones, and other digital tools necessary for e-commerce operations.
- Vision Requirements: Ability to read and interpret data on computer screens, reports, and spreadsheets. Must be able to evaluate product images and details with accuracy.
- Communication: Requires consistent verbal and written communication, including video calls, phone calls, and email correspondence with team members, vendors, and customers.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
- May occasionally be exposed to dust and odors from inventory items.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols.
- Flexible work schedule, including potential evening or weekend shifts during peak operational periods.
