As a Proposal Development Coordinator at CLD, you will support proposal and pricing development for large launch initiatives, maintenance contracts, and RFP submissions. Working closely with Sales, Writing, Project Management, Operations, and other cross-functional teams, you will help ensure timely, accurate, and well-coordinated responses to client and new business opportunities while contributing to CLD's continued growth.

Located in Belmont, MA, CLD (Custom Learning Designs) is a sales training partner that exclusively works with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical companies to ensure their commercial teams have the right knowledge at the right time to help transform patients' lives. As a Proposal Development Coordinator, you will work in a highly visible, revenue-impacting role with exposure to the Director of Marketing and CEO, while collaborating with talented professionals across Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Technology, Writing, Project Management, Sales, and Operations.

Job Requirements

  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver pricing packages, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) for new business, renewals, and project-based engagements

  • Coordinate with Writing, Project Management, and Resource Planning teams to gather inputs, assemble the appropriate expertise, and maintain proposal and presentation schedules

  • Coordinate team meetings, manage timelines, monitor milestones and due dates, and communicate progress toward deliverables

  • Participate in strategy meetings to align goals, scope, and deliverables for proposals and presentations

  • Conduct initial reviews of RFPs and RFIs and partner with Sales to create project plans for proposal development and submission

  • Obtain and develop supporting materials and documentation required for RFPs, RFIs, and Statements of Work

  • Track and organize proposal activity while ensuring consistency, compliance, and accuracy across client-facing materials

  • Maintain the RFP and presentation content library by compiling applicable internal assets and creatively sourcing additional materials

  • Ensure proposals are appropriately designed, formatted, proofread, and edited prior to delivery to clients and prospects

  • Support lead generation and marketing campaigns and help maintain related CRM and client databases

  • Participate in professional learning opportunities to continuously develop knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Identify and confidently propose new and more efficient processes for proposal development and related activities

Qualifications

  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and software

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including formatting documents with styles, inserting images and tables, and updating templates

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, discounts, and cell formatting

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including designing and editing slides, modifying colors and backgrounds, inserting media and images, and adjusting animations and timing

  • Ability to synthesize RFPs, develop and organize workplans and timelines, solve problems, think creatively, and apply new technologies

  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of project teams

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

  • Ability to achieve results while working under tight deadlines

  • Flexibility to work on a single project for an extended period or manage multiple projects with shorter timelines

  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with proofreading, grammar, formatting, and consistency

  • CRM experience, such as HubSpot or an equivalent platform, is a plus

  • Experience with writing or copy-editing is a plus
