Title:  Receiving Coordinator

Shift: 1st = 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Pay: $23 / hr.

Basic Job Functions:

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible to check all incoming shipments in the warehouse. 

Essential Functions of the Job:

·       Verify all shipments that come into the warehouse

·       Clarify that the right amount and type of product was received.

·       Contact buyers directly if a problem or discrepancy in the shipment occurs.

·       Keep records of all shipments.

·       Make sure all proper paperwork is received with the shipments.

·       If a Dock apt is not scheduled contact the buyers.

·       Verify components are received on heat treated pallets.

·       Create and place label tickets on the incoming components.

·       Be sure to file all packing list and Bols under each customer’s number.

·       Assign trucks to the correct doors and have them sign in upon arrival.

·       Replace damaged and faded tickets on components.

·       Backup for Warehouse Staff.

·       Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements of the Job:

·       Strong communication skills

·       Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse inventory and locations systems.

·       Warehouse, transportation and materials handling experience.

·       Basic mathematical skills sufficient to count and reconcile materials and conduct inventory.

·       Able to read and interpret documentation, instructional signs and warning placards.

·       Able to follow instructions, get along well with others and work in a team environment

·       Able to be conscientious, diligent, and pay attention to details.

·       Able to work effectively with minimum of supervision in a very fast paced environment.

·       Able to work different shifts, hours and overtime on short notice

·       Leadership skills sufficient to supervise assigned hourly personnel.  (1 to 3 people)

Physical Requirements:

·       Able to sustain a minimum of one (1) hour of strenuous activity.

·       Able to work different scheduled hours/shifts/days and overtime to meet the manufacturing schedule.

·       Able to sit 41-75% of workday

·       Able to work in a “dusty” environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  None 

Travel:  None 

Education and/or Experience: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have previous experience working in a warehouse.
