SAP Fiori UX Developers – Junior and Mid-Level

@Orchard LLC has a tremendous opportunity for SAP Fiori UX Developers at the Junior and Mid levels to bring their skills to the largest greenfield SAP implementation ever initiated within the Federal Government. As the SAP Fiori UX Developer, you will: 

• Create intuitive and user-friendly SAP Fiori applications to enhance the user experience within the S/4HANA environment, utilizing the HTML5 development toolkit based on JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and ensure seamless integration of UX designs with backend processes.
• Engage in development activities, performance analysis, testing, issue analysis, triage, debugging, job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution to ensure optimal application functionality.
• Develop SAP Fiori applications using the HTML5 development toolkit based on JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• Utilize SAP Gateway Service Builder to develop SAP OData entities for consumption by external applications via HTTP(s).
• Implement best practices to enhance the performance and responsiveness of user interfaces, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
• Participate in the analysis of customer business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggesting process improvements where applicable.
• Convert business‑critical requirements into SAP applications.
• Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality.

To be considered, your background will include: 

• Must possess U.S. citizenship and be able to successfully obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 implementations across various SAP versions. Up to 3 years for Junior and 3+ years of experience for Mid-Level
• Hands-on experience integrating backend SAP and non‑SAP applications.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 custom development.
• Expertise in configuring standard Fiori applications and enhancing Fiori apps based on client requirements.
• Experience with SAP Gateway and OData Services for UI5 development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP development and CDS.
• Experience in designing and developing interfaces/APIs with a focus on reusability and configurability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Additional capabilities to stand out as a candidate: 

• Certifications related to Application Development or Agile methodologies.
• Experience in problem‑solving and troubleshooting complex issues.

Compensation: Compensation ranges are determined by several factors, including skill set, experience, licensure and certifications, and location. The anticipated range for a base salary for junior-level Developers (0-3 years of relevant experience) is $70k - $100k, the range for Mid-level Developers with 3+ years of relevant experience is $90k -$120k.
