Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production Team Lead to join our dynamic team at our Byron, Georgia facility. In this role, you will supervise a group of employees in a production environment to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. Team leaders motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Managing the day-to-day activities of the production team.

·       Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets, by delegating tasks to team members.

·       Empower and train team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.

·       Drive LEAN manufacturing and develop solutions to gaps.

·       Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets.

Qualifications:         

·       Three years minimum of previous supervisory experience required.  

·       High school diploma or GED certificate preferred

·       Previous 3 years experience or more in food production preferred.

·       Knowledge of equipment and food production processes preferred.

·       Ability to communicate in English. Bilingualism a plus.

·       Knowledge of GMP, GFSI, SQF and food quality processes and procedures preferred.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
