As an Instrumentation and Controls (l & C) Technician, you will install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot our industrial control systems, sensors, and automated equipment. You will ensure manufacturing systems run safely and efficiently by interpreting schematics, wiring devices, and using diagnostic tools. Key skills include PLC troubleshooting, SCADA system monitoring, adhering to safety compliance, a teamwork mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.

Core Responsibilities and Duties

             Maintenance & Calibration: Calibrate, test, and repair transmitters, controllers, and analyzers to ensure accurate process measurement.

      Installation & Programming: Install and wire new control equipment, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and loop checks.

      Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic control systems, often using SCADA systems.

      Documentation: Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and system changes, often using computerized maintenance management systems.

      Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

      System Upgrades: Assist in replacing or upgrading outdated instrumentation.

Work Environment

      Requires working in industrial settings that may have moderate to high noise levels or require working at heights.

      Positions may involve 24/7 support, including, as required, possible shift work, weekends, and on-call rotation, etc.

Work Location

This role will work across Nexus Circular’s Atlanta and McDonough offices. Regular on‑site presence is expected, with the specific schedule to be determined based on operational needs.

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
