SoHo Experiential LLC, an experiential marketing company based in New York City, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tour Manager based in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, or Greater New York area. This position requires resilience, quick thinking, and a strong work ethic. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee activations focused on customer loyalty and educational events within the consumer products sector. You must be able to think on your feet, adapt to various situations, and demonstrate a desire for upward mobility.
This Job requires 85% travel (November 24th, 2024 – March 28th, 2025)
This is a temporary, non-exempt role with possible extension to Q2 2025.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Manage tour staff including Brand Ambassadors, Catering Staff, and Local Market Managers
- Assist with local Production Assistant recruitment efforts for each market in the tour
- Manage all aspects of the event flow including all cues and Brand Ambassador support
- Logistics
- Drive a food truck
- Manage all aspects of venue logistics including set-up and strike
- Ensure all event elements are assembled and functioning correctly and completely
- Ensure all event elements are present at each event
- Ensure all event elements are cleaned pre and post event
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of vehicle & event elements including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Analysis/Reporting/Communication
- Ensure reporting on promotion’s progress is completed within 48-72 hours of each event
- Represent both SoHo Experiential and the client in an appropriate manner to general public, clients, venue management and local vendors
- Consumer and client interaction
- Assist in management of vendors that support the execution of the tour
- Tracking of tour budgets and inventories
- Ensure reporting on promotion’s progress includes both positive and constructive feedback to improve results
- Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner for submission
- Miscellaneous
- Management of hotel booking
- Moderate to heavy lifting (50 lbs.)
- Ensure all client goals and objectives are executed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Certifications/Comprehension:- Valid Driver’s License & spotless driving record (MVR); Preference given to those with a Class B CDL
- Understanding of DOT guidelines, reporting and log booking
- Comfortable with a wide variety of work situations and challenges
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible depending on work situations—locations, schedules, and duties may change while on tour minute-to-minute
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Have superior verbal and written communication skills
- Client and vendor communication comfortability
- Have strong problem solving and motivational skills
- Have exceptional organizational skills
- Must have the ability to gather and analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions
- Must deliver on tight deadlines
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Retail experience is preferred
- High School diploma or GED required

- $35.00 Hourly to $65.00 Hourly
