This full-time position based in New York City is responsible for developing and executing experiential events for a variety of exciting spirits brands. The Specialist will work closely with our client’s Experiential and Brand Marketing teams to support development of experiential strategies that drive cultural relevance and build brand affinity for the target consumer.
This person should have a proven track record of planning and executing events in a variety of size and formats from small to large including sponsorships, festivals, sports partnerships, and other large-scale programming. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills while being a self-starter. A creative thinker with a love for spirits and hospitality is a plus.
Working closely with and under the direction of the VP of Client Services you will:
Manage the ticket bank for partner events and lead all associated communications.
Oversee the process of creative review, approval and distribution of festival info sheets.
Assist with collation and circulation of event recruitment materials and RSVP management.
Perform venue reviews and provide insights and recommendations.
Perform creative review of select event materials including event invitations, menus and directional signage.
Perform reviews of post-event reports and support with feedback, edits and circulation, helping to embed strong metrics and recapping processes around tentpole activations. Assist in data analysis and review of qualitative and quantitative surveying for tentpole consumer activations and social listening for trade activations.
Manage requests for new or revised POs for approved budgets and inputting into spend trackers to help track overall budgets for the year.
Manage the product request process, including estimates, ordering, and delivery for events requiring product drop-offs.
Manage the POS order process for annual catalogue buys and individual event needs, working closely with Senior Manager and Manager to identify needs.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of hands-on experience in event planning/execution
Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across functions
Ability to anticipate needs and acts accordingly and/or quickly as needed
Ability to travel 10% of the time with some evening, weekend and holiday work required
Ability to lift up to 35lb
Microsoft Office Suite Proficient
Superstar who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task like a pro
Have strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
Be a self-starter, outgoing, energetic, gregarious personality

Pay Range
$65,000.00 Annually to $75,000.00 Annually
