The Accounting Analyst supports the company’s financial operations through transaction processing, account reconciliations, and accurate recordkeeping. This role contributes to monitoring expenses, balances, and billings while assisting with regular financial reviews to ensure integrity and compliance. The position offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of an experienced accounting professional, gaining mentorship and practical exposure to a broad range of accounting activities. The Accounting Analyst also plays a key role in supporting both routine processes and special projects that strengthen overall financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills

-       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in accounting or,

-       Minimum 3 years’ proven success in an accounting role

-       Performance and accountability in a fast-paced environment

-       Proficient in Microsoft Excel

-       Ability to perform account reconciliations, book reviewed journal entries, and review expense accounts

-       Attention to detail - Being detail-oriented is important for ensuring accurate financial information and compliance

 

Core Roles & Responsibilities

-       Manage the AR process from invoicing to collecting, ensuring timely billing and collection with given terms

-       Reconcile most balance sheet accounts, assisting with timely close and accurate financials

-       Review and analyze all expense accounts for reasonableness, adjusting entries as directed

-       Continuously improving current accounting functions to match or exceed industry best practices

 

 

Responsibilities

-       Process and review company expense reports and transactions

-       Record accounts payable wire payments

-       Record and reconcile corporate credit card transactions

-       Perform monthly reconciliations for most balance sheet accounts including AP, AR, Software Amortization, Fixed Assets, Loans, etc.

-       Maintain and update fixed asset register

-       Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable items

-       Support custom billing processes for enterprise accounts

-       Assist with financial reviews and ensure accuracy in reporting

-       Collaborate with and learn from senior accounting professionals to build technical expertise

-       Various accounting and finance duties as directed

$60,000.00   None to $70,000.00   None
