The Project Coordinator position is an essential role for Kattsafe. As we expand into providing full turnkey safe access and fall protection systems, this role will be instrumental in the success of our new Project and Services department. You will be the central figure in managing projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact on a new and exciting division of our well-established company. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a track record of managing complex projects and a passion for safety and quality.

Qualifications & Skills

  •        Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  •        5+ years of experience in project management within construction industry.
  •        Experience with height safety, fall protection, or structural systems preferred.
  •        Strong knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, ANSI Z359, CSA, etc.) and compliance requirements.
  •        Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and field personnel.
  •        Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, job costing, and pricing strategy.
  •        Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination
    • Take full ownership of projects post-sale, leading them through to successful installation and handover.
    • This includes developing comprehensive project plans and establishing clear objectives.
    • Oversee the selection, onboarding, and performance of subcontractors.
    • Define scope of work, negotiate contracts, implement necessary training, monitor progress, and ensure subs uphold safety requirements, quality standards, and align with our Values.
  • Client Communication
    •       Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a superior client experience
    •       You will communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, drafting, and manufacturing, encompassing planning, design review, installation scheduling, and post-installation support.
    •       Guarantee all projects adhere to safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, CSA) and Kattsafe quality protocols.
    •       Utilize business systems management to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Trade Partner Management
    • Hold Partners to account with clear expectations, quality control and cost management. Build a positive working relationship with the partners to fuel additional business and develop strong loyalty
    • Manage subcontractor performance, and ensure they adhere to Kattsafe standards for safety, quality, and ethics.
    • Manage and schedule subcontractor resources using Buildertrend. 
  •  Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain meticulous project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
    • Provide regular, clear, and concise project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Pricing & Financial Management
    • Develop and maintain project budgets for field service operations that ensure profitability while remaining competitive.
    • Evaluate job costing and recommend adjustments to enhance efficiency and financial results.

Pay Range
$75,000.00   Annually to $85,000.00   Annually
