POSITION SUMMARY

This seasonal role (August through December) manages a portfolio of Workplace Giving accounts, building partnerships, delivering presentations, and driving participation to achieve revenue goals. Maintains CRM records, tracks campaign performance, and supports Business Development operations, including campaign materials and mailings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION

An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:

  • ·       Manage an assigned portfolio of Workplace Giving accounts, supporting cultivation, solicitation, and growth.

    ·       Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to plan and execute successful campaigns.

    ·       Schedule and deliver workplace presentations, distribute materials, and engage stakeholders to drive participation and collect pledges.

    ·       Achieve revenue and participation goals through effective engagement and follow-up.

    ·       Maintain accurate account records, communications, and campaign activity in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

    ·       Monitor and report campaign results, providing recommendations for growth.

    ·       Attend required meetings and support Workplace Giving and organizational initiatives.

    ·       Support Business Development operations, including coordination of campaign materials and mailings.

    ·       Provide back-up support to the Development and External Relations team as needed.

    ·       Stay informed about HFUW’s services, products, and the key issues affecting the communities we serve.

    ·       Maintain donor confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, FIPA, PHI, PII requirements.

     

  • Contribute to overall organizational success by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job requirements include:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in sales or marketing may be considered in lieu of degree

    ·       One year of experience in administration and development preferred.

    ·       Fundraising, volunteer management, social services, fundraising, or sales experience preferred.

    ·       Ability to engage C-Suite donors and prospects while building and maintaining relationships.

    ·       Public speaking skills with the ability to confidently address large groups preferred.

    ·       Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office required, with advanced experience in Excel preferred.

    ·       Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

    ·       Fundraising CRM database experience preferred.

    ·       Customer service skills and experience required.

    ·       Ability to edit, complete, and assemble reports.

    ·       Attention to detail and accuracy.

    ·       Excellent analytical skills.

    ·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.

    ·       Strong communication skills, both written and orally, required.

    ·       Strong interpersonal skills to understand and respond effectively to the needs and interests of potential donors and clients.

    ·       Strong proofreading skills required.

    ·       Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    ·       Ability to utilize organizational skills effectively.

    ·       Must have access to a private, secure, and stable high-speed internet connection.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions include:

  • Hybrid inside working environment.
  • ·       Occasionally working in an outdoor environment with high or low temperatures.

    ·       Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekend hours.

    ·       High level of long periods of concentration.

    ·       Frequent interactions with internal and external customers.

    ·       Reliable transportation required.

     

  • Travel to multiple locations in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties.
