The Mayenda Brand Ambassador role is a full-time position dedicated to brand building, education, and supporting activities for the Ultra-premium Mayenda brand of the Campari RARE Portfolio. The BA must be passionate about the ultra-premium tequila category and be a dynamic public speaker who can represent our ultra-premium brand to trade (and consumer) audiences. The BA must be based out of the NY Metro area and needs to be able to travel up to 10% of the year.
The BA will focus on forming new partnerships with industry influencers while leveraging existing relationships in the space. This Ambassador will also act as an official spokesperson for the brand, representing the portfolio at industry events that engage both trade and consumers.
Essential Job Duties & Skills- Serve as product knowledge expert for the Mayenda brand
- Educate trade, brand and distributor/broker partners on brand benefits
- Support sales division teams with distributor meetings, account trainings and trade events
- Aim to convert key trade, brand and distributor/broker partners into Mayenda advocates
Trade Outreach & Engagement- Participate in the creation of unique brand experiences to motivate trade, connect them to the brand, and drive awareness and trial
- Grow relationships and build goodwill in core set of influential accounts
- Inspire accounts and bartenders to become advocates
- Captivate and educate accounts through highly engaging and interactive presentations
Events- Attend all high-level trade events and support the brand as needed
- Assist in planning and execution of local popup events
- Support brand at trade events and relevant initiatives
- Lead discreet consumer sampling
PR/CRM/ Communications- Represent brand as industry leader and product expert
- Engage media, consumer, trade, and internal brand team
- Key influencer networking and education
- Host press tastings as needed
Reporting- Maintain weekly reporting via online reporting platform
- Report market trends in on-premise community
Brand Support- Support Brand programs with promotion/recruiting and hosting as needed
- Identify Industry trends and how to leverage them in the on-premise
- Assist with drink strategy and cocktail development as requested
- Support new product and innovation projects
- Help audit and manage Brand training tool kits and materials
Experience & Qualifications- Category and brand expertise
- Embody the essence of the brand in behavior and delivery of key brand messages
- Experience working with ultra-premium brand(s) and their clientele
- On-premise familiarity and experience is a plus
- Previous Brand Ambassador and/or spirits sales and marketing experience is required
- Prior experience working with and presenting to media/PR is preferred
- Socially connected with Influencer communities in key markets
- Acting experience is a plus

- $90,000.00 Annually to $100,000.00 Annually
