The Champagne Portfolio Brand Ambassador role is a full-time position dedicated to brand building, education, and supporting activities for the ultra-premium Campari RARE Champagne portfolio - Lallier and Miraval. A natural at public speaking, the BA is passionate about the ultra-premium Champagne category and will serve as an official spokesperson for the brands among trade and consumers. The BA is ideally based out of the NY Metro area and needs to be able to travel up to 75% of the year throughout the RARE markets (California, Florida, New York - Metro, Texas, Illinois).

The ideal BA candidate is experienced and holds credibility within the fine wine/champagne space as they will need to build trade advocacy (mainly sommeliers) to get our foot in the door of the right accounts. The BA will focus on leveraging existing relationships and forming new relationships with industry Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and account decision makers in the fine dining, hospitality, luxury hotel, premium bar space, and fine wine retail stores to drive distribution. They will also be the face of the brand for any consumer pull activations like dinners, tastings, etc.

Essential Job Duties & Skills:  
  • Serve as product knowledge expert for the RARE Champagne brands, including Lallier and Miraval
  • In a very crowded and misunderstood category, they will educate trade and distributor/broker partners (many who have limited knowledge) on brand key points of differentiation
  • Support sales division teams with distributor meetings, staff trainings, and trade events
  • Aim to convert key trade (i.e., sommeliers and account decision makers) and distributor partners into Lallier and Miraval Champagne advocates
  • Be the face of the brand for consumer tastings and events.
Trade Outreach & Engagement 
  • Participate in the creation of unique brand experiences to motivate trade, connect them to the brand, and drive consideration
  • Grow relationships and build goodwill in core set of influential accounts
  • Inspire accounts and bartenders to become die-hard advocates of Lallier and Miraval Champagne​​​​​​
  • Support sales division teams with distributor meetings, account trainings, and trade events
  • Captivate and educate accounts through highly engaging and interactive storytelling and presentations
  • Attend all high-level events and support the brand as needed
  • Assist in planning and execution of consumer and trade events
PR/CRM/ Communications
  • Represent brand as industry leader and product expert
  • Serve as the brand/product expert in the on/off-premise and amongst industry peers (media, consumer, trade, and internal brand team)
  • Engage with consumers, trade, and internal brand team
  • KOL networking and education
  • Maintain weekly reporting via online reporting platform
  • Report market trends in on/off-premise communities
  • Formal 1x/month meeting with Campari HQ to track status of annual KPIs

Experience & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven category and brand expertise
  • Previous Brand Ambassador and/or spirits sales and marketing experience is mandatory
  • Sommelier certification is highly preferred
  • CSS, WSET, or similar certifications are highly preferred
  • Embody the essence of the brand in behavior and delivery of key brand messages
  • Experience working with ultra-premium brand(s) and their clientele
  • On-premise familiarity and experience is required
  • Prior experience working with and presenting to media/PR is preferred
  • Socially connected with Influencer communities in key markets
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft TEAM required
  • PR trained
  • Acting experience, a plus
  • French speaking, a plus

Pay Range
$90,000.00   Annually to $100,000.00   Annually
