Scheduling / Administrative Assistant

Flight Training International (FTI) is an industry recognized part 142 commercial flight school, specializing in ATP/CTP and Boeing/Airbus Training. Our clientele ranges from the US Air Force and Part 125 Carriers, to individuals transitioning to Airline positions.

As the Scheduling / Administrative Assistant, you will have the ability to be in the middle of coordinating schedules and enrollment for these pilots. You’ll also be working with some of the largest SIM providers in the US, with the ability to schedule in 50+ multimillion dollar Full Flight Simulators. The focus of this position is to coordinate with Sales to schedule the most training, allowing for FTI to help the most pilots and companies, as possible. During the off periods of the scheduling process, you will also work directly with our sales team to ensure proper documentation has been received to ensure students are qualified for training. With the potential opportunity to test your skills flying against your colleagues in the most realistic flight Simulator available.

Responsibilities:        
Scheduling/MINT 
  • Work with student pilots, simulator vendors and pilot instructors to create a training schedule for both in-classroom ground school and simulator training  
  • Schedule individual and corporate schedules for Denver location
  • Act as backup scheduler for Miami and Dallas
  • Work with instructor availability to ensure continuity in training
  • Coordinate with SIM vendors to keep positive working relationships and proper use of SIM time
  • Ensure no conflicts in MINT on a weekly basis 
  • Changing/modifying schedules to support the most training possible on a month-by-month basis
  • Upload pilot documents to MINT
  • Maintain accurate, real-time information in Mint- reflect information to CRM

Admin
  • Act as support for Enrollment Officer
  • Upload pilot documents to CRM
  • Update pilot record items in CRM
  • Answer phones
  • Attend weekly Tuesday and Thursday meetings
  • Set up classroom prior to course start

Qualifications:
  • Analytical mind set adept to problem solving
  • Ability to stay calm and collected in an emergency
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Experience
  • Scheduling Experience
  • Aviation Work Experience
  • Experience in MINT and D365 applications
  • Degree in Aviation Management or similar
