Director, Chapter Innovation & Integration

As the Chapter Project Manager, you will collaborate with the ACG chapter executives to manage, develop and implement current and new initiatives to support growth and success. Much of the role will focus on creating the framework, structure, and process to successfully onboard and integrate new chapters through OneACG implementation which is a major ACG initiative.  Continuing the focus on chapter success, you will manage the online event/meeting scheduling platform – ACG Access. The role is chapter facing and will require a high level of fluency in how chapters function, a deep understanding of the members, and the ability to work closely with the chapter and headquarter staff. The Chapter Project Manager will report to the Chief Customer Officer.

Responsibilities:        
  • Onboarding of Chapters merging with ACG headquarters through the OneACG Initiative. This includes assessing existing processes to building out a comprehensive process and integration plan.  
  • Using a project management tool to track merger tasks like legal documents, IT systems, access to new platforms/systems, team introductions and combining of financial and other key operations as well as timelines, status updates and assign tasks of merging chapters.
  • Provide continuous suggestions for improvement to the chapter onboarding and integration process. 
  • Execute initiatives designed to support OneACG’s objectives, from membership recruitment/retention, technology improvements, sponsorship sales and event registration.
  • Conduct regular outreach with Chapter Executives to understand needs, troubleshot problems and build relationships. 
  • Work closely with ACG headquarters teams (sponsorship, events, finance, etc.) as a chapter liaison.
  • Make recommendations about new opportunities to ensure chapter staff have  resources, tools and training needed to ensure success and growth.
  • Act as an ambassador and resource for ACG Access to the Chapters, managing intake calls regarding interest in ACG Access and providing detailed demonstrations of how to most effectively use the tool and the benefits to both chapter events and attendees
  • Liase with the Senior Director of Conferences & Events to strategically and logistically manage ACG Access. This will include understanding best practices for set-up based on event specific objectives, daily data import/management, create FAQs for users, attendee outreach and customer service within the system.
  • Work directly with ACG leadership and the Senior Director for Conferences & Events regarding potential updates, collective user issues, changes and future update builds for ACG Access to ensure it continues to meet the needs of customers.
  • Assume the role of project manager and analyst during new initiatives & projects
  • Assistance on special projects as assigned at the discretion of the Chief Customer Officer.

Qualifications:        
  • Minimum of 5-7 years project and event management experience, with proven interpersonal communications skills that ensure effective teamwork.
  • Working knowledge of the ACG/M&A ecosystem and familiarity with an association chapter operations model.
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience and fluency in event and/or meeting technologies
  • Customer service orientation – a mentality that thoughtfully considers and prioritizes the customer/user experience
  • Excellent organizational, planning, project, time, and budget management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, within established deadlines and budget
  • Highly detail-oriented and data-driven
  • Problem-solving skills offer sound, efficient and effective solutions
  • Thorough understanding of troubleshooting issues with technicians/staff
  • Strong internal and external written and verbal communication skills to provide clear and succinct information to chapter staff and headquarter team members
  • Microsoft Office Suite with advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
