Description

Our client is a B2B distributor of hearing products and accessories to hearing professionals, retailers and hearing ai OEMs and has been a trusted resource since 1984. Their business is growing and they are interested in hiring a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative to assist them in maintaining the high level of efficiency and service our customers have come to expect.

Customer Service Representative/Account Manager
Full Time remote work possible
$21-$25/hour, depending on experience

As a member of the Customer Service/Account Management Team, you will assist audiologists, hearing health care professionals and other customers over the phone, email and occasionally face to face with questions/technical support, taking orders, processing returns etc. Hearing or medical sales and customer service experience is not a required but is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain a fundamental and thorough technical understanding of a fairly extensive product line
  • Communicate with customers daily via phone, email, and occasionally face to face
  • Perform daily data entry – input new customers, enter orders, process returns, etc.
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and recommend products based on those needs
  • Respond to inquiries & complaints in an efficient and timely manner
  • Help persuade customers and occasionally negotiate in order to close sales
  • Other tasks and projects as determined by your supervisor

Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and/or inside sales experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Friendly, positive, outgoing personality
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Good communicator and effective listener
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated / Self-starter
  • Persistent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable and confident learning new computer software
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office programs (basic skills testing is a prerequisite to being offered employment)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently
  • Creative problem-solving skills
