The Talent Development Director is responsible for maintaining integrated organizational HR processes designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain productive, engaged employees.  The goal of talent development is to strengthen partnerships across the organization where a high-performance sustainable organization meets strategic and operational goals and objectives while supporting the mission.

The Talent Development Director will design and implement recruitment and retention strategies, collaborate with hiring managers, expand community talent pool partnerships, utilize and monitor social media and different websites for promoting employment opportunities, consult with Insperity Recruiting Team to enhance sourcing and recruitment, analyze and monitor trends in hiring and turnover, and to conduct and act on engagement surveys. 

This position will also be responsible to work with Executive Leadership and Insperity to review and enhance wage, salary and benefit packages, policies and practices, champion LMS content and resources, implement communication strategies to promote learning and development opportunities, collaborate to develop solutions that address needs to support organizational development, support effective talent management and employee retention, actively promote and participate in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEIB) efforts and manage the performance review process.

The position will perform core HR function including conflict resolution support, employment actions, employee relations, compliance, and consulting with the Council’s PEO on escalated matters.  This individual will assist in development and implementation of the annual staff development budget, long-term strategic plans and to coordination with the HR Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with emphasis in Human Resources preferred and five plus years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess advanced Math, Language, Analytical and Reasoning abilities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. TEAMS, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), SharePoint, virtual meeting tools, team/knowledge sharing tools, etc.
  • Ability to work from home, as needed, to include high speed home internet access, accessibility to a non-distracting and uninterrupted space with adequate lighting and ergonomically adequate workspace.
