Howard University Hospital is now hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Emergency Department team!
We are currently offering Flexible Staffing options with contracts between 4 weeks and 24 weeks.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Emergency Room RNs who are looking for schedule flexibility (hours and contract length), premium hourly compensation, 1 primary ER location, and more!
As a Registered Nurse (RN), ER Flex Pool you will:
• Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•Valid District of Columbia RN license required
•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
•One (1) year of Emergency Department Registered Nurse experience
•Highly competitive Pay
