Description
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex technical projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions within established timelines and budgetary constraints. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving project execution, mitigating risks, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project objectives and meet key milestones. Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks proactively.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and project teams. Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to validate adherence to quality metrics.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources effectively. Assess impact, communicate changes to stakeholders, and update project plans accordingly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and best practices adoption. Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery and team performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to project teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with organizational guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in a silicon program management role at a semiconductor company
  • Well-organized, technically oriented, and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a cross-functional team of ASIC design engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and drive the cross-functional execution of various engineering functions to enable best in class customer solutions.
  • Engage with technical leadership team (Core team) to understand and document program scope, establish integrated schedules, assess, and manage program progress and risk, and create resource and budget plans.
  • Drive product solution deliverables and alignment with customer requirements to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience in all stages of product development from inception, POR creation, execution and into HVM
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to successfully represent program status horizontally as well as vertically within the organization.
  • Proficient w/ MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Project & Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc).


Nice to Have:
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.

Work Environment: The work environment for this role typically involves office-based activities with collaboration with analog design, CAD, and physical verification teams. Occasional travel may be required for project meetings or customer engagements.
