    The Perioperative Services Business Manager:
    • Assists with development of and tracking of operational and capital budgets
    • Participates in collaborative teams in the selection of equipment, supplies, and surgical instrumentation, as well as supply storage and database management
    • Manages the assessment of strategic perioperative services’ business needs through data and evidence-based practices
    • Provides project management expertise for perioperative services’ strategies and action plans
    • Provides leadership for the Product Review Committee. Provides leadership and human resource management of surgical support staff

    Qualified candidates will possess:
    • Bachelor’s degree in in a relevant field required; Master Degree preferred
    • 3-5 years work experience in healthcare required. Prior experience managing budgets and inventory
    • Minimum of 3 years of related supervisory or management experience in healthcare or healthcare related environment

    Required Skills

    Expertise in business management tools required (i.e. Excel, Access, Office word-processing programs, PowerPoint
    Experience in acute care financial management preferred
    Ability to produce financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
    Ability to communicate with multiple audiences; physicians, staff, administration, students
    Comprehensive communication skills required
