Howard University Hospital Project Coordinators are an intelligent bunch that handles the core Graduate Medicine Education responsibilities at the hospital. As a member of this team, you know how to provide a high level of programmatic and administrative support to the Office of the Senior VP of Health Sciences/ Director, GME and Manager, Special Projects (GME) in accordance with office policies and procedures. Work independently to coordinate various projects with executive level macro-management. submits itemized reports to Manager, Special Projects (GME) and director regarding project status, updates, and completion. What will you do?
Coordinates day-to-day projects and programs within the GME office while providing additional supports to the Manager, Special Project and the Director, GME
Acts as a liaison between the GME office and project staff, local agencies, and others to ensure timely communication and facilitation of activities.
Assists in maintaining the Director's schedule, a master GME projects calendar, and assists in the coordination of meetings, conferences, trainings, open houses, orientations, and other project related events.
Responsible for gathering technical data, preparing and coordinating information, implementing, evaluating, compiling, and summarizing project information.
Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and preparing reports for any area that may be part of the project.
What do you need?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or one year experience in an office setting. in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or two years experience in an office setting is acceptable.
