Your New Job
The Position
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Sales to lead our wireline division's sales efforts. The Senior VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share in the wireline construction business. This role requires a proven track record of sales leadership, industry expertise, and a strong network of relationships within the telecommunications or infrastructure-based industries.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the wireline telecommunications sector.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive results and exceed sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including telecommunications companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and strategic partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet client needs and requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports to evaluate progress and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our capabilities and expand our network within the wireline telecommunications sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Anchor
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the wireline telecommunications industry or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding market share, and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong network of relationships within the telecommunications industry, including key clients and industry partners.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
