@Orchard LLC is a subcontractor supporting the Veterans Affairs Administration with an urgent need for six Licensed Social Workers (3 in-patient, 3 out-patient) with a MSW degree and licensed in any State of the US, to be located at the VA Healthcare Center, in Tucson, AZ.

We're seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Workers to join our team at the Tucson VA Medical Center.

In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in improving the lives of our nation's heroes. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to Veterans facing a range of challenges, including:

Mental health crises: Conduct suicide risk assessments, offer crisis intervention, and develop safety plans.
Social determinants of health: Address issues like homelessness, food insecurity, and access to healthcare.
End-of-life care: Assist with advanced directives, facilitate goals-of-care discussions, and coordinate discharge planning for palliative and hospice care.
Rehabilitation and recovery: Develop discharge plans that connect Veterans with the resources they need to thrive, including home health services and community support programs.

Qualifications:

Master of Science in Social Work (MSW) from a nationally accredited school.
Current, full, and unrestricted social work license in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
Strong crisis intervention and mental health assessment skills.
Expertise in discharge planning and community resource navigation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
