Maintenance Lead - Resource Centers
The Resource Center Maintenance Lead is responsible for on-site direction of the implementation of operations, security and maintenance of assigned Council-owned and leased properties and resource centers within the framework of Council policies, standards, goals, objectives, and budget. This position will provide direct daily leadership to the maintenance, development, stewardship, safety and security programs for the Council’s portfolio of properties and facilities, oversee local construction and projects, assist in development and monitoring of facility operational and maintenance budgets, securing bids, negotiations with vendors, oversight of contractors, maintain Council property inventory, maintain property maps and licensing records. The Resource Center Manager also develops and implements written maintenance standards and procedures, maintains maintenance and usage records and activity reports for management review. In addition, this person will establish and monitor safety and security procedures for maintaining a safe work and program environment as well as emergency response protocols including periodic drills, inspections, code compliance, and safety education and awareness training for Council staff or volunteers. This is an exempt level position reporting to the Director of Facilities and Services, and does have supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience using Lodgepole preferred.
- Must have ability to work from home, as needed, to include home internet access and accessibility to a non-distracting and uninterrupted space with adequate lighting and ergonomically adequate workspace.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Must be First Aid/AED/CPR Certified and maintain a First Aid/AED/CPR Instructor Certification.
