Your New Job
The Position

The Director of Total Reward (Compensation & Benefits) is responsible for managing the design, development, and oversight of the compensation administration and benefit programs while ensuring compliance, equity within the organization, and market competitiveness.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Lead strategic planning, analysis, and execution to ensure that the company's total rewards strategy aligns with its business objectives and attracts, retains, and motivates top talent.
  • Develop & integrate Company-wide compensation and benefits policies and programs including salary planning, operational pay programs, annual incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, paid time off and other benefit programs.
  • Develop and oversee specialized incentive programs such as sales commission, production pay, piece rate, traveling team compensation programs. 
  • Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure Congruex total reward and compensation strategy maintains a competitive market position responsive to business needs while ensuring compensation budgets are maintained.
  • Create monthly executive reports and quarterly board presentations to track progress and impact of programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.
  • Work closely with Finance and the Executive team to develop and comply with budget allocations. 
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to total rewards, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Lead the design, communication, and administration of the global benefits programs, including health, wellness and other employee perks.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and maximize vendor relationships, consultants, and other external resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in benefits and compensation in a construction and/or telecom related industry.

Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong business & financial acumen.
  • Strong business case/presentation development skills.

Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to influence and maintain governance of compensation policies and practices.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA or similarly related experience preferred.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related job experience.

License/Certification:
  • CBP and CCP certification is preferred.
