We are a privately held, private equity-backed firm with multiple subsidiaries in hyper-growth mode. This position is a high-impact, high-leverage, high-visibility position with an opportunity to have a multinational impact. We seek an energetic Sr. Director Commercial Solutions who can adapt to new situations in an exciting but ever-changing environment. The role reports into the Sr. Vice President of Commercial Solutions Group. The ideal candidate will have proven success in leading a business management function that requires extreme leadership and commercial acumen, with a special focus on interdepartmental collaboration. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Work alongside Sales to effectively vet opportunities from a commercial and contractual lens
Facilitate the commercial processes from order intake to order/project handover into operations and the implementation team
Lead the collaboration between sales, finance, and legal on the commercial and contractual review of opportunities and associated legal agreements to minimize risk and exposure for Congruex operationally.
Work closely with the other leaders within the Commercial Solutions Group to build GTM strategies for the Congruex product catalog.
Collaborate with the bidding and estimating team to ensure alignment of the bid to the commercial instrument(s).
Lead the coordination with the Legal team on the terms and conditions in early stage opportunities, ensuring alignment with the DOA and process timeframes (SLA’s) are met across the deal team(s).
Responsible for the effective handover of CLOSED WON projects and opportunities into the operations teams.
Responsible in establishing the initial financial models for each deal before they head into operations. This is not limited by but must include initial cashflow forecasts, CAPEX and OPEX budgets, project-based P&L’s with direct and indirect cost budgets.
Manage Congruex owned assets and associated underlying rights.
Travel to our business units up to 30% may be required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General
Bachelor’s degree required. Ideally, with an Engineering or Construction Management focus, but not required. MBA would be welcome, but not required.
10+ years of experience. Experience working in commercial role(s), at the intersection of operations and contract/commercial functions.
Energetic, ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, hyper-scaler environment
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and work effectively across the executive team, senior leadership team and regional operating leaders.
Highly analytical and strategic thinking- demonstrable experience in leading longer-term initiatives where the strategy was set and then execution against the plan.
Technical
Proven experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and modeling.
High level of commercial acumen and ability to review contracts and legal documents.
Polished, executive level presentation skills.
Consulting experience with focus on operations management
Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives to drive efficient productivity
