Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Basic Functions and Characteristic Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitors residents' vital signs.
• Reports any changes in residents' condition to the Director of Nursing.
• Assists with the implementation of the residents' care plans.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.

Working Conditions/Physical Exertion:

• Works in a fast-paced environment.
• May be exposed to infectious diseases.
• May be required to lift and move residents.
• May be required to work long hours.

Duty Hours: Full-time or part-time

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

• Reports to the Director of Nursing.
• May supervise other CNAs.

Personal Interactions:

• Interacts with residents, families, and other staff members.
